A Summer Place in 1959 with Sandra Dee, Susan Slade in 1961 with Connie Stevens, and My Blood Runs Cold in 1965 with Joey Heatherton.Doris Day made the 1956 movie Julie co-starring Louis Jordan, many scenes of which were shot on the Monterey Peninsula. The 1971 movie "Play Misty For Me" starring Clint Eastwood and Jessica Walters is the only movie to have been made in its entirety on the Monterey Peninsula and was his debut as a director.
