Locations on the Monterey Peninsula that have appeared in such Hollywood movies as "Play Misty for Me" " "and Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home" are the focus of Monterey Movie Tours®, a new tour option that can be adapted for groups of various sizes.  The tours, which use a 32-seat motorcoach, typically are three hours long and visit many of the site locations that have been used in nearly 200 movies made in the area since 1897.  The tours offer live narration and film clips shown on overhead monitors, and celebrity  sightings are uncommon. For groups, the tours can be customized to include such options as lunch in Pebble Beach, a visit to a Carmel Valley Winery or exploring Carmel village, said owner Doug Lumsden, who also operates Monterey Bay Scenic Tours. "If groups are too large for the coach, we can rotate between a visit to the Monterey Bay Aquarium and the tour, or we can offer sever tours during the meetings program," he said.
